Lego

Today's journey could not have been more straightforward.

We got a taxi to the station which was rammed with people going to get a train. Although our train was over seated capacity we happened to be stood on the platform by a train door, and this door happened to open into an unticketed carriage. So we got seats. Just luck. And the train arrived on time to make a swift connection. We got door to Windermere in around three hours. Quick by any standards.

To Grandma's for lunch, then we made a Lego shark which took a solid hour. Playing with the shark, then a walk/ride into the village, then back for more playing and dinner.
