Ferry

Breakfast with Grandma then she was going out.

So were we!

Got out the door - rain started. Back in and played some Lego.

Rain stopped. Tried again. Rain started. 

Back in for a brunch picnic.

Persevered the third time. Went up to Windermere to get the bus down Bowness. Had a pleasant walk/ bike across Cockshott Point then we got the ferry across the lake and walked along to a lovely grassy hill with a beach where we sailed CyclopsJnr's boat and paddled and collected sticks and stones, and so on.

Then, back across the ferry, back round Cockshott point. Quick poke of chips and quick feed of the ducks.  Bus up to Windermere and back to Grandma's.

This was declared to be a successful day trip, to be repeated.

Grandma was back so we could say bye, that was nice.

Grabbed our stuff and headed out for the train. Uneventful journey and home about 7.45pm. 

Phew, tired!
