This candle has previously been a little too close to the woodburner so began to take on a rather curious shape and hasn't been quite the same since!

Still...interesting photo subject, I suppose!

It would seem I haven't left the house today, however it has been productive on the study front, tasty on the food front (I do like a good peshwary nan!) and delightful on the evening entertainment front.

Well - mum and I do enjoy a good game of Scrabble ;)

I am now the proud owner of a rather snazzy new tripod (not one but two spirit levels!), however on account of my suitcase being small and my arms being weak it is making the journey to Edinburgh ahead of me in my dad's car. (Fairly typical week in the life of my family right there!) Looking forward to trying it out on an Edinburgh sunset or two very soon :)

(Also...it seems that I have found my own answer to the "will I keep blipping having now completed a year?" question - yes! Although I expect at some point the regularity of it will dwindle, I hope it will be an outlet for honing my skills a little :) Perhaps somewhere along the line I might learn to write a description of interest, too!
