2019 Wednesday — on the Dock by the Bay

We enjoyed a delicious dinner of fish and chips at “Dockside Too” in Morro Bay this evening. Not only was the meal very good, but the music was delightful with the band “Drastic Measures” entertaining a packed patio of diners.

It was 7 years ago this morning at 11:00 that we walked thru this house (that is now ours) here in Cayucos for the very first time with our realtor. It was the last day of July 2012. That moment started a new chapter, a gigantic chapter, in our lives.

Carole King’s song “The First Day of August” is perfect for this moment.

P.S. When a local band announced that they were giving away 2 tickets, I entered the contest. I just discovered that we won. Woohoo! I never win contests. So tomorrow night we get to go to a concert at Painted Sky Studio in Cambria.
