La Roche Bernard

It is 12 years since I last visited my aunt and uncle at their seaside retirement.  Of course I got lost on the drive over from La Ferte-Vidame but not too badly, as I drove past the turning but my phone was conking out as it is refusing to charge from my battery or the 12v adapter in the car.  Works fine on the laptop though, and I'll need it for the satnav up to St Malo.

Packed up fine and it was a bit sad to be leaving but I've had enough of camping in the heat; France is having a real heatwave with temperatures in the upper 30's and drought conditions.  Good to be with family and in a house with a fan.

Lots of chat and catching up, including of the family tree with a few additions on both sides.
