Butterfly flutterby

Spotted this little beauty while walking this morning. It was on the ground under a laurel bush and in danger of being trodden on so I lifted it onto the bush . I'm not sure it wanted to be there, but at least it wasn't squashed onto the pavement. Does anybody know what type of butterfly it is? It's extremely pretty and I don't think I recognise it.
I went over to Ali's this morning to let the tiler in. The heavens opened again just as I arrived and I got drenched running the 50 yards to their house from the car! The bathroom is almost finished as is upstairs in general. Next week the plan is to get stuck into downstairs.
I went out to the Gyle this afternoon and got a new phone, a Huawei P30, a fantastic camera on it. I couldn't quite justify the extra for the pro version but they are great brilliant zoom too. A few teething problems getting to know the new operating system, but all good so far. The problems between them and Google/access to android apps seem to have been resolved, so hopefully all OK there.
Colin and I got the bus into town and walked back via Stockbridge. I had an absolute craving for a fried egg roll so we stopped at Maxis, or Cowan & Co as it is now. Delicious!
A quiet evening, playing with /getting to know the phone.
