Gone!

There used to be a Garage here, which provided Appleby with fuel (from ancient petrol pumps!) and vehicle service. It has now been demolished and the Co-op is building a new store, whether to replace the existing one or extend it, isn't clear. Sad that the garage went, it was family owned and had been in the town for a long time, but a larger Co-op will be welcomed by everyone.
