Just a glimpse

Superb concert given by the Royal Northern Sinfonia in St Cuthbert's Church, Carlisle. A brilliant programme - Dvorák in America. A bit of a Hoe-Down, some Waltzes and the wonderful Symphony No.9 'From the New World'.( Interesting that Neil Armstrong took a recording of this on the Apollo 11 mission.) 

The church was full, the applause wholehearted. A glorious evening, although we all stepped outside to pouring rain.
