A lovely day with fellow blippers PaulaJ and Gordon who came to visit.  Gordon went off on a cycle ride... he loves it here as its very flat... whilst myself and Paula took Misty and her friend out for a walk which was cut short as it started to rain.  We then had a bite to eat at Bowness on Solway in a very smart leisure centre and spotted a sign for doggie ice cream.  Of course had to bring a couple of tubs home for the girls and here's Misty's friend enjoying her's.  Misty was acting very strange with her tub and I didn't get a shot of her.  One of the friendly young blackbirds was hovering... see extras.

Walked the girls on the marsh later on before the rain and spotted a cow lying down by a hedge which was very odd as the others had been brought back in.  Didn't walk any closer to it because of the dogs.  Told the farmer and apparently the cow had escaped when they were being moved and had given birth to twins!  I didn't see them until driving back home and they were standing.  He was waiting a few hours until they could walk to the trailer and he could take them back to the farm.
