I always like seeing the patterns in the mud in the Solway estuary.  Shortly after taking this shot the tide started to come in.  Was surprised to see a couple of people in a paddle boat and when the tide came in they turned the boat around and put up a little sail and floated towards Carlisle with the tide.  

Spent some time in the garden trying to plant a shrub.  Took a long time trying to find a spot without big tree roots.  Afterwards decided I should try and dig up some self seeders which I've let go over the years.  Quite difficult but managed to do three.  Hoping to plant that area next year with wildflowers if I can clear some space.
