I completed my bus pass adventure today arriving in Liverpool. My journey took me from Shrewsbury to Whitchurch, Whitchurch to Chester and Chester to Liverpool. Gloucester bus station was pipped at the post by Chester - clean, bright, good seats and excellent electronic displays and - the clincher - a green roof. I’ve really enjoyed my trip through Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Shropshire and Merseyside. I’m having a couple of hours in Liverpool tomorrow before getting a train home.
