A Stroke of Luck

It has been duller and slightly today after some overnight rain. I did a few jobs indoors, and spent some time watching cricket. During the break between innings, I went out into the garden with my camera. almost immediately I spotted this lovely Comma on one of the ferns. The cooler, duller conditions calmed it down so it was easier to photograph and the flatter light made the colours more vibrant.
