Long leg refers to the cricket, England have just made the final after crushing New Zealand, which due to all the money floating around, is not to be seen anywhere live on free to air television. A massive shame as the number of viewers watching on Sky will be much smaller than the number of viewers for the women's World Cup semi-final (which was so dramatic if ultimately gut-wrenching). Cricket, due to not being the "national" sport, really does need to be on ITV or the BBC if it is to galvanise the nation like football does, but it's sold itself to the highest bidder so it just won't happen. Lip service - well, Johnson and now the Ken Doll (Hunt as described  quite brilliantly by the Guardian columnist John Crace), is what the two idiots are paying towards any kind of reality when it comes to the economy and Brexit. God help us all, whichever of the two pea brains becomes our next Prime Minister. It would be blackly funny if it all wasn't so appallingly awful for the future of this county and the union. I don't think the Tories quite understand how hated Boris The Tosser is in Scotland - he's a total, utter liability and they will eternally regret making him the leader of their party and the country.
