The Return of Amboubou!

My Dear Princess & Dear Fellows,

Isn't this a cheery picture? This is from inside my new favourite coffee place, "La Cloche". I like it because it is staffed almost entirely by people with adorable Jerry Mouse Mouseketeer accents.

"En garde, Monsieur Poosyca!"

Like that.

Every morning, I buy a coffee from there and they charge me "five do-lairs" for it. I would happily pay them twice that number of do-lairs for that accent.

When I got to work Lemon told me her boys had been to see "Annabelle Comes Home". I remember being freaked out by the first Annabelle movie*, so I asked her how they liked it.

"Well, I asked my oldest boy what it was about," she said. Then she told me the conversation went like this:

BOY: Well, it was about these people and they hired a babysitter because they needed someone to babysit.
LEMON: Yes?
BOY: So they went out and picked up the babysitter and then they brought back the babysitter so she could babysit so they could go out.
LEMON: I thought it was about a scary doll?
BOY: So then they went out and the babysitter started to babysit the girl...
LEMON: Are you REALLY going to tell me the whole plot of the film?
BOY: And then the babysitter, she was babysitting and then she went into the room...
LEMON: But what was it ABOUT?
BOY: Well it was about this babysitter doing some babysitting...
OTHER BOY: Oh GODDDDD! Why do you ASK him things???
BOY: And while she was babysitting the girl she went... she went... the babysitter girl, not the other girl...
OTHER BOY: For ****'s sake! Why are you still TALKING??
BOY: ...and she wasn't supposed to go into the room, but she went into the room although she was supposed to be babysitting...

I wonder if the eldest boy actually sneaked out after the first five minutes. Because I'm pretty sure this film is about more than a babysitting babysitter who babysits.

I'm not sure I want to find out though... eek...

* Or "Amabel" as we called it, Princess. Lisa watched the whole thing with her eyes closed and her hands over her ears. Meanwhile, I was sh*tting myself. You, as I recall, took it in your stride because you are brave. Or possibly drunk.
