Georgina’s garden.

Today Mr Tbay and I headed for lunch near Reading with a very old family friend, together with her family and Mr Tbays brother and wife .

The weather was perfect for an alfresco lunch where we were able to enjoy her fabulous garden. It is always an absolute delight to spend time here. The lovely Art and Crafts house is set in 15 acres of mature woodland and garden. It is filled with quintessential English herbaceous borders which are always such a delight to the eye and the nose.

However I have to admit I had extreme vegetable garden envy when I saw this! Not a weed in sight but just superbly attended to beds with row after row of delicious vegetables and fruits! To be fair she does have a full time gardener and a part time woodsman! But oh the results! Just fabulous. See extras for other views of garden.

Farming - Mr Tbay has somehow managed to dig himself out of the ‘I have too many places I need to be at one time’ problem and was slightly happier when we returned home. The rest of the week will be flat out but hopefully a little easier. That would be nice!

Another back blip on today as well!
