Easily Fooled!

We got daughter number 1 her first proper bike for Christmas. It is a lovely, bright pink Islabikes Cnoc 14. The thing was that she wanted a Hello Kitty bike. We did look at them but felt it would be wrecked after a few months. So we bought the Isla bike, popped on a Hello Kitty bell and got the pictured Hello Kitty helmet. It worked - she is convinced that it's a Hello Kitty bike. Although probably shouldn't be that proud of fooling a 4 year old!

Met up with the lovely Lynne for a 7am run round the hilly farm roads behind the rugby club. Jings that girl can motor. Sso we did 4.74 miles at a phenomenal pace of 8'33 as it was so hilly! Most telling stat for me was my average heart rate 159 BPM. I normally average 145 to 147. Was a tough session but great to push myself to the edge of my limits!
