The photo was taken from the bus, so it's not the best but does give a feel for some of the countryside we've seen today.
It was a 90 km cycle today along a gently undulating road and through many small villages. All the way along you are shouting back hello to the children, waving and giving them high fives. It was another great cycling day.
We also experienced our first rain. There wasn't nearly enough of it, and it was warm. Still it was refreshing. Despite this shower, we're all feeling particularly sweaty and smelly today, and I doubt this bus smells very fresh (I'm writing this on the bus again).
We've just driven by piles of fish beside what looks like a lake. We're not sure why they were there, but have decided they smell worse than us.
Off the bus now and in the hotel. We timed our arrival just as two wedding parties were greeting their guests. Everyone in their best clothes and then 18 very dirty and smelly cyclists turn up.
The hotel is right on the coast and I'm listening to the sounds of the waves. I don't think there will be much time to enjoy it though as it is now dark and we have another early start tomorrow.
