Boat trip

Today was a rest day from cycling and instead we went on a boat trip.

This photo was taken at a small fishing village where they were farming cuttlefish and lobsters, among other fish.

After the village the boat drive out to another island and on the way I got a manicure and pedicure, others got a massage. We anchored up close to the coast and went for a swim and snorkel. It wasn't the clearest or calmest of days but there was quite a lot to see. After a little more relaxing, lunch was served. The staff laid out a massive table cloth on the middle seats and we had a feast of noodles, tuna, prawns, spring rolls, squid and rice. Followed by fresh pineapple and bananas. It was lovely. After another swim, we headed back to shore.

This evening a few of us found a lovely restaurant, followed by a medicinal G&T (quinine for cramps and anti malaria - I know that only justifies the tonic).

We experienced our first rain today. Hot drizzle; very unlike Scottish rain.

Tomorrow we're back on the bikes for an 'easy' 90km. I'm not so convinced about the 'easy' bit.
