Little Miss Chatterbox

Not your usual chatter though.
We talk endlessly about life and death and disabilities and inequalities. She misses departed relatives, hates bullies, sticks up for transgender rights and is a loyal friend. She worries about moving school in September and starting periods and won’t be contradicted when she admits to being rubbish at everything. I hate that she’s been picked on at school since she was 4 years old for having a congenital abnormality, with one hand missing bones and fingers. Yet, she is by far the happiest soul I have ever met. I love spending time with her.
