Such a treat!

Today I ventured into Manchester for the third time this week, for a get together with the "ladies who lunch". We tend to meet up every 6/8 weeks, but today was a special one to mark mine and Gills 60ths'.

We opted for Richmond Tearooms in Manchester, and as usual, we were not disappointed.

When I walked in, excited to see everyone, particularly my friend who lives in Harrogate, who had come to join us on this occasion, I was even more surprised to see two other faces too, who unbeknown to me, the other girls had invited too! Although we are still in touch on social media we hadnt seen each other socially for 25years plus, so you can imagine the commotion :-)

Fortunately none of us were driving, well anytime soon, so out come the prosseco, the win and even a cocktail!! There was tea and coffee too.......lovely food, and dare I say cake!!

Three hours just whizzed by and all too soon it was time for farewells, but only until our next lunch. Our WhatsApp group has expanded.

Thanks for your company ladies, and for the Fizz and Roses, think its safe to say we all had a really enjoyable afternoon.
