Leanachan

There's a lot of coughing and sneezing going on in our family tonight.

The day has been dominated by trying to get our broadband sorted out. Till recently our package was seemingly so generous there was no way of ever consuming it in the month. That was in the days before Xbox and Apple stuff came in to common use in our house. The worst aspect of the package was the rather cynical penalty for going over allowance when the cost jumped from about 20p per Gig to an eye watering £2 (two pounds).

Frustratingly another section of the same organisation (they even use the same call centre) can offer us "unlimited" BB for a lower monthly fee than our presently premium capped one. There is the hassle of keeping hold of the same base email address that has been used for loads of accounts over the years but I believe we have that sorted.

The morning call took 51 minutes and ended when the guy said he would need to speak to some one and phone me back. The lost hour meant that the whole dog walk part of the day was delayed and I got back too late to receive his return call. (My suggested time to him did not account for the hour, you lose track of time listening to "on hold" music)

I had to phone them again and .... anyway you get the picture.
