Floating home

This was the floating home, which was built at Chichester Marina, that featured in the 2016 Channel 4 TV series. If I had my way, this is where we'd be moving.

Mr DA had the day off today and, originally, we were going to go to the New Forest or something, however his injured foot means we are a bit restricted at the moment. We wanted to give Polly a nice outing, though, as part of her new, single dog life, so we headed off to Bracklesham Bay first of all, where it was somewhat breezy. After a little time on the beach we went to Chichester Marina where it was sunny and warm with barely a breeze, so we had lunch outside and watched the wading birds doing their thing while the tide was out.  It turned out to be a lovely outing.

In Extras are Polly on the beach, an egret, and some of the marina swans who often sit around on the the road, hence the bollard! There were also black swans and lots of swallows.
