Flotsam

3.1C grey day with cloud but not much breeze.

Maeve the Deerhound and I went for our walk a bit earlier than usual. The field with the bridle path was very muddy. The farmer has been collecting bales on the trailers and there are many sets of deep muddy tyre tracks next to the path. We stuck to the path :-)

We went through the little field and over the level crossing, then down to the beach. Tide well in. The sand was almost covered in flotsam. Everything from seaweed to all sorts of plastic. Very quiet everywhere today. If it hadn't been for one dog walker coming along from the Carnoustie end of the beach we wouldn't have seen a single soul.

Later I used iTunes to put Deacon Blue's The Hipsters on my iPod nano :-)
