SMM Day 2

We were woken by a piper walking between all the tents and there was no rain and sufficient breeze to keep the midges off, allowing us to cook and eat breakfast outdoors. I have a mix of oats and powdered milk, coffee and  hot chocolate that I just put in the previous night's instant noodle pot and pour on boiling water. The course was good, with some navigation required towards the end. We were slow, coming 33/59, but I was pleased to have finished after the trouble with my ankle. Strangely it felt better on Day 2 than on Day 1, as if the exercise had given it some valuable manipulation. Then there was time for the meal that's always provided and a beer before the long drive home.
