I've been busy, and it's been a dull day, so I've not been out. Tonight's EB is of the view from our back door. At this time of year we normally have a magnificent display from this elderly rhododendron, but it's very disappointing this year. Rhododendron cognoscenti will spot that there are far more remains of last year's flowers than there are flowers this year. Kermit is seen on "his" wall: a safe spot from which he can survey a lot of his territory and is able to spring into action should anything need to be dealt with. I think I may ask the neighbours - one of whom is a running mate - if they would take out the bracken lady fern. However, little will grow under rhododendron.
