SMM Day 1

I don't usually take a camera on Mountain Marathons, since saving weight is important, but I wasn't going to be competitive this weekend. The weather was very much better than we expected, so there were hazy views all day. At the mid-camp we just got the flysheet of the tent up before the heavens opened, so it was a bit of a camping marathon.

My ankle stood up well to 18km of trackless terrain, although I was glad to finish!
