Parcevall Hall Gardens

After the rain of yesterday we wanted to get out into the Dales today. Having seen Parcevall Hall and Troller’s Gill star on Blip I felt it was time for a visit. So glad we did it was fantastic.

We headed for the gardens first where I spotted this fine Lily unfurling. Then onto a rather busy Troller’s Gill. The stream was flowing through the gorge making the ascent interesting as we had to cross from side to side. Climbers were beautiful busy setting up several climbs and walkers were making the most of a decent day. The last extra shows a group who had never seen the stream flowing before.

A delightful drive back through Pateley Bridge. Plans afoot for another Dales trip.
