Rode down to Seahouses in Northumberland to meet up with my folks for the weekend. A pretty great ride that involved climbing Redstone Rig and on to Duns, before zig-zagging my way east and south to Seahouses....where I arrived with 89 miles on the clock. I took the most of the opportunity and carried on, chucking in a loop down to Embleton and Chathill to crack the century for the first time ever, arriving back at Seahouses after 106 miles, and feeling surprisingly alright. A cup of tea, half a dozen ginger nuts and a shower later and I was good to go for fish and chips, a beer or two, and an evening walk on the beach. I should do it again sometime!
