I knew this bus stop was here, I used to come down this road a fair bit when I first got back into having a bike a few years ago. It was one of my regular routes.

So, first time out on the road on the bike for eleven weeks. Stayed local, just an hour, seventeen miles. Felt good. The climbs didn't feel hard, all that indoor training in the meantime has obviously paid off.

And then put in an hour on the turbo out the back when I got in. Think of it as a bit of a top-up. Besides, I had tunes to listen to!
