Juliana vs. USA

Sue and I got up early and worked on the banner we'll use for the silent meditation in front of the courthouse on Tuesday. We don't think our standing, with or without a banner, will change the outcome, but standing with the children who have the courage to confront the US government is simply the right thing to do. We feel the need to keep #AllEyesOnJuliana.  This case could change everything. Well, almost everything. It won't stop police from killing people; it won't stop gun-toting rage-driven white men from committing mass murders; it won't stop systemic racism from scarring our souls; it won't stop soaring income inequality from devastating populations; it won't stop a madman billionaire from waging war on the world and endangering all life with nuclear armageddon. But it could make a powerful difference. Of course even if the hearing is a YES, it will be appealed. But it could work.

After June 4, we expect the banner will come in handy on many other occasions.
