The workshop on Engaged Buddhism
Thanks to Adam Rominger for this photo of me, giving the workshop. I took plenty of tissues and throat lozenges and got through it. I collapsed afterward, and Sue is being an angel of support, laughter, and understanding. I have begun to think that allergy gets worse when I'm tired, and I'll need to take care in the future not to overschedule myself. (Not as if it's the first time in my life I made that determination.)
Tomorrow I have a talk to give, and then Monday I rest.
In Buddhist practice we say congratulations because now is the time we have been practicing for. No more just practicing the dance. We must now dance. And this is not a dress rehearsal. —Zenju Earthlyn Manuel.
