Finally
After nearly two years waiting what ought to be my car has finally got its MOT & can now be driven on the roads. Just need to find the €60k spare change. The story of the Morgan Plus 8 is detailed on a Blip last month.
Being Tuesday & as I haven't been doing Tractor Tuesday regularly, have added an extra of another UK iconic machine that is well connected to Brexit - one of two JCBs belonging to the local grass drying facility. Silage making is now in full swing. We passed the drying unit on our morning walk along the train track, one of the old diesel double-deckers on its way to Munich from Lake Constance. And on the evening walk spotted the forwarder doing the last clearing up work in the forest. At long last they have taken away the tree that was blocking "our" path from the house.
In the second extras, the bees have nearly finished the sugar fondant (bottom right), one of the many herons and Luna looking for mice in the freshly mown field and the kite having a meal on our trees directly above our chickens. Seemingly this year there is abundant food.
