Lemon Sherbert

Andy has been pruning one of the climbing roses (Generous Gardener) at the front of the house.  It was only planted last year so we are trying to get some upright stems to develop and to then grow side shoots.  There were quite a lot of flowers which needed to be removed in the process so I brought them inside and put them in vase.  I love the gentle pink bouncy blooms (like elaborate ballerina tutus) .  Best of all though, is that they smell like lemon sherbet!

In mono in Extras.

Hoping you have all had some sunshine, wherever you are!
