samba sisters to the rescue!

Samba Sisters were playing at the Nith Inshore Rescue Open Afternoon. We had a great time, despite the steadily increasing drizzle and some competition from the police siren!

If the weather had been nicer, I had intended taking some photos of the Sisters wearing police hats or on the lifeboat or the bouncy slide, but instead here is a pic of the lovely Jill, putting on her lippy before we started our set. Some of the Sisters are far more glamorous than me (tartan skirt over my cycling shorts and a hat to hide hair which frizzes up at the sight of rain and as for makeup...).
