It was busy all day today at the cafe, especially in the afternoon when we had our monthly tea dance with 70 guests all enjoying the ceilidh dancing and their afternoon tea.

It was lovely to return home to the peace and quiet of the garden. I was very happy this week to discover an app called BirdNet which allows you to record birdsong and then find out which bird you are listening to. I'm getting much better at knowing which song is which.

Tonight is bivvy night and I'm all packed up and ready to go...and tomorrow Samba Sisters are drumming at the Nith Inshore Rescue Open Afternoon :-)
