Hitched

This afternoon was the wonderful wedding of Phil & Gilly, treasured members of the Cartwright Close Clan.

Phil was the first person to host a party on the street and started something wonderful. At the time we were all introduced to Gilly, his girlfriend, and then soon Gilly also moved onto the Close and then came the engagement.

The weather today was beautiful, the bride looked stunning and the groom had an epic quivering chin as he watched his bride walk down the aisle. A lovely celebration which carried on into the evening and ended with quite the rave at the Mytton an Mermaid. The DJs words were: "I've never had this requested at a wedding before" as he proceeded to play Insomnia by Faithless followed by Born Slippy and some Prodigy. Loved it.

A gorgeous day spent in the company of some truly delightful neighbours.
