Preparations

I had two meetings today but they pretty much took up my entire day at work. Good meetings: interesting, challenging and lots to think about. And one involved a duck noodle salad and some excellent running chat, so it wasn’t all business.

I’m driving a few of us to tomorrow’s wedding and so, because I am my dad, that meant I had to clean the car after work. You absolutely cannot drive to a wedding in a dirty car.

Managed a quick run, too, and pushed myself on a fast mile and became the second fastest women to run that segment on strava. Small victories.

And then an evening of popping around to all the neighbours to get them to sign the wedding card. A quick natter at each house meant for a longer trip than I’d anticipated.

And that Euro reminds me to make sure that I get my voting done before work in the morning.
