Nice weather...

Well, this duck at least didn't seem to mind that it rained more or less all our open day after a week of warm, sunny weather. She kept me company while I was on pond duty, making sure that small children didn't fall in the pond (me, that was, rather than her). It took me some time to spot her when she was sitting beside the pond as she merged in well with the background. It looked as if she was having a good feed - there aren't normally any ducks around, so she had the pick of whatever a duck fancies. She was probably the highlight of the day, although I hope we will have made a reasonable amount of money for the kind of day it was.
