Cygnets!

Busy preening, but not on Blackford Pond. I started off there and found that there were still no cygnets (the swans got off to a late start because the island was flooded for a while) so I decided I would defect to Craiglockhart Pond as I knew from Facebook that there were cygnets there. And indeed there were, nine of them - and not just cygnets but also ducklings (ten in one family, see extra photo), baby moorhens (five in the nest where the swans had had their cygnets) and two quite large baby coots. So Craiglockhart beats Blackford hands down! I've got some more cygnet photos in the extras too.
