Shiny (Day 1468)

It has been another lovely day in the frozen north, and with the morning woofer wander out of the way, I made my way to Stromness to fit an outside tap. Sadly most of the work was inside, but I did get to spend a little while outside.
Checking in with my beautiful wife before deciding what to do next, it seemed that her five hours between shifts today were becoming increasingly frantic and stressful. I opted to head home and get out with the dogs, knocking one thing off her "to do" list. The dogs were delighted to have a wander at Lyde and Talisker came back with another tennis ball to the other 20 or so he has brought back from various walks. He likes to do a little bit of litter picking every now and again.
By the time I got home, HV had returned home and we had time for lunch together whilst I was filled in on the events of the morning. It was soon time for me to make my way across to Stromness again to see EllyJay to look at a couple of jobs she needs done. There was another job to look at afterwards, but I will need to organise parts for both jobs.
I headed back home and took the advantage of the good weather to drag my bike out of the garage for a wash and polish. Parking it up in the garage I liked the reflection of HV's bike in my shiny paint.
