Hunting
Another grey start to the day, and with a forecast for poor weather later in the day, my beautiful wife and I took a trip out on the bicycles. Only a short ride today, but either I am much fitter than I was or the lack of wind made the hills seem much easier than they have done for a while.
After lunch, and under darkening skies, we headed to Lyde for a wander with the dogs. The rain caught us as we walked, but it didn't seem to put Sigyn off and she carried on hunting. She failed to catch anything as usual.
Back home, HV headed to work and I zoomed through to Stromness to do a bit of strimming for Mum and Dad. I had to stop on the way to help a horse which had managed to get its foot all fankled up in the straps for its rug. It seemed fairly pleased that I had come to its aid.
I was hoping that the patch of clear sky I could see whilst strimming in the rain would drift far enough across us to allow me to get out on the bicycle again, but it wasn't to be.
