Colorful Abstract
I'm beginning to feel that nature provides us with everything we need, including the perfect answers to photo challenges. It's a very dull day today, but the streletzia just outside our front door provided me with some colorful abstract options without even having to put my shoes on....we should have had Moises power wash the front porch and steps yesterday. They're looking a bit moldy. When are we going to see the sun again? It's May in California!
Ozzie had a pedicure today, and not a moment too soon. His dew claws are like lethal weapons and my hands are beginning to look like those of a prize fighter. While he was there, we had Steve, our vet, look at his feet since he has days when he walks like he's walking on broken glass. Turns out his feet are ok, but he has arthritis in his elbow. We could probably all learn something from our dogs, who know a lot about living in the moment and not complaining. Or on Ozzie's case living for the next meal. In dog years Ozzie is over 90 and never complains....unlike OilMan and me. No medicinal glasses of wine for him either, although he does get cannabis cookies....
Especially after hearing the story of why there is a fully decorated Christmas tree in the window of a house on the lane around the corner from us, I am extremely grateful that, aside from some fairly minor aches and pains, OilMan and I are in good health and enjoying life here in wind country....
