"Tulips from Amsterdam"

There was only one title today could have had! We went to Keukenhof gardens, the main reason for our trip. Unfortunately we were too late for the tulip fields but the gardens were superb. We probably covered about 75% of them but by then we had walked a lot and had overdosed on bright colours and tulips! We really enjoyed our time there and, needless to say, took many, many pictures. It has taken us all evening to sort through them and do mum's pages for her book. We are trying to do both photobooks as we go. 

As well as the flowers we enjoyed the windmill, yes we both went to the top! There were also some large clogs that we tried on. You can see the composite picture in the extras. 

A great day and the weather was kind to us most of the time. There was a torrential downpour at lunch time so we hid in one of the display houses.
