Beat the Crows to the Bark Butter

I haven't been filling the top holes on the BarkButter feeders lately to try and make it more of a challenge for the Crows to pig out. My plan didn't even slow down this male Pileated. They better get what they can for the next two and a half weeks because C and I will be on the road, headed for the Maryland Shore, an area neither of us has seen. Driving up and taking the Auto Train back. The pup's 'Aunt Lu' will be house/dog sitting. And I'm sure that she won't be near as concerned about making sure the wild critters get their treats each day. And that's probably a good thing!
