HEY LOOK AT ME....

.... after leaving Lucerne we drove to Zurich for the night. In morning we headed for the Pilatus cable car system, to find our way up into the Alps, on what was another superb day with the weather.
 
And guess, spotted a couple of birdies soaring around! My decision to not lug "the BIG gun" around on holidays left the Lumix doing a pretty good job considering.

But what a ride, and what a view, we did not go all the way to the top as we wanted to finish up in a little village called Holzgau, so off we travelled further into the Alps for a tremendous day.

The views were just amazing, and considering the road at the top had 2 metres of snow piled up on each side, was a tremendous experience. Apparently a month earlier the road was closed.

Plus here we were with a day wearing shorts and t shirts ... the kids had fun throwing snow at us and just having a great time.
