FAIRY CASTLES.....

.... as Hayley would refer the majestic and seems iconic Neuschwanstein Castles and Hohenschwangau Castle

Another superb sunny day, and along with hoards of other tourists this place was throbbing with people. It was good our daughter as the "official tourist guide" had rebooked the tickets. If you just rocked up there is every chance you could wait in line for seems hours and miss out. 
The story with the history of these is amazing (check the above WIKI link) and pics in extra gives some idea of the size of both perched high on the mountain having the views shown in the main pic.
A massive day with hundreds of steps and pleased we took the horse drawn cart up as it is a real climb.

A BIG day, and we all enjoyed the history and seeing and hearing the history.

At the end of the day we headed to our accomodation for a BIG sleep ready for the next adventure tomorrow.
