Brilliant

We have a number of orchids around the house, but this one is my clear favourite.
For one thing, the striking blooms seem to last ages, and while not quite deprived of care, continues to burst into bloom again when all colour and flowers finally disappear.
It lives in a shower room and appears to thrive on the humid atmosphere, generated by the shower probably no more than once a day. We have had others on the same windowsill, but they lose their vitality once we move them to another room in the house.
So this one stays put, with minimum attention, and the final bloom burst into life today making seven in all, and seemingly weeks since it first showed signs of rebirth again.
