Biggin da Paet Shed

It's been a fantastic day, less wind and sunshine all day.  Clouded over this evening.  The east coast was misty and dull.

Weekend off work, and up early with the sun coming in the window.  I managed to get two loads of washing out.  I planned to go to the peat hill, but ended up in the garden all day.  A load to the dump, mostly old branches.  Me and Elise popped down to mam's and fed the cat in the afternoon.  After a busy day  it's been a lazy evening by the fire.

Last year I built my own peat stack at home, but this year, it's going to be kept in the new peat shed.  When we were at the dump, we picked up supplies.  Peerie Brian has been busy and put most of the shed up himself, but needed me now and again to help out.  The shed should be a drier place for the peats, although there will be gaps in the panelling, so the wind can rush through.  Taken at home, Houl Road, Scalloway.
