What's Important...

By the looks of my suitcase, what's important is 4 bottles of wine and 23 French novels!

My first class was sort of cancelled as Thibault's group were working on theatre pieces, so all I had to do was watch them. They were actually pretty good. Next I had a group of Mathilde's... started doing work but frankly I decided I wanted to play Christmas games! Came home and attempted to pack, didn't get that far to be honest. My class at 3 was more Christmas games. On the way back to the staffroom I bumped into Christel who had left me a present in my pigeon hole... a beautifully wrapped book with a sweet little note, that looks far too pretty to open. I almost cried, and I'm not sure why. It was so lovely that's she'd thought of me.

In the evening, I had my private lesson which well as usual. Eloise is a nice girl and she tries really hard, I think we're begining to make progress too which is good. I'm just not sure I'm very good at explaining English grammar, or indeed, understanding English grammar!

In the evening Delphine came over to eat her dinner and ours and we chatted for a while which was lovely.

Got our gas and electricity bill today, lead to much more tension in the house. When will I learn!?
