Skipping to Skipton!

Bbbbrrrr as cold as any winter bike ride I'd say today!! However the sun was shining intermittently and it was lovely to be out on the open roads...some new roads explored today too! It was Livy's 2019 debut too, summer bike is go!

An alternative route to Skipton heading out towards Oxenhope, onto Stanbury, through Oldfield and Oakworth and into Sutton-in-Craven and Cross Hills before more familiar locations of Kildwick, Bradley and Farnhill...and finally Skipton. It was beautiful up high on the hills between Oakworth and Cross Hills...a real sense of being in the middle of nowhere and a feel of the Yorkshire Dales without all the traffic and people. Perfect!

After dinner in Skipton, it was a return leg through Cononley, Farnhill, Steeton, into Keighley and back.

All in all, super, smashing, great! :-D
